Welcome to Villa Sofia, in Baveno, a quiet resort surrounded by greenery on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The villa is located in a panoramic position, just above the centre, in the area known as “Tranquilla”, with a splendid lake view.
Within walking distance are the charming little church of Oltrefiume and two renowned restaurants: the romantic Amélie, with refined cuisine, and the modern Civico3, ideal for a cosy dinner. Going down towards the centre of Baveno, you will find bars, pizzerias, restaurants, a shopping centre with supermarket, parapharmacy, hairdresser and self-service laundry. Two other supermarkets are about 1 km from the villa.
The main square houses the bus stop for buses to Verbania, Stresa and Arona, and the landing stage for visiting the beautiful Borromean Islands.
Villa Sofia is ideal for families, with a well-equipped play area (basketball, table tennis, table football, volleyball, slide and swing), a children's pool and a sunbathing area with sun loungers for summer relaxation.

About me

My name is Manuela and I am a mother of two wonderful children. Together with my husband Luigi, we decided to renovate some flats in a house we own and use them as holiday homes. We love travelling with friends and family, visiting new places, getting to know different people and cultures.
Villa Sofia was born from the idea of creating a modern, elegant but at the same time functional structure with all comforts.
We have furnished the flats by mixing a modern style with revisited classical pieces to give the rooms a more refined touch. We would like our guests to feel at home and at ease during their stay.
Ready to welcome my guests, letting them discover our small area, with many interesting things to visit or just relax by the lake.
